An interesting collection of road tests by Top Gear’s Chris Harris. He gets his hands on what is considered to be the first car produced by the company that was to become Porsche, the Type 64. Produced before WW2, most mechanical parts came from the KdF-Wagen, better known as the VW Beetle.

Chris also gets his mind blown by the awesome 919 Hybrid that Porsche launched in 2014 with one aim – to win Le Mans. It achieved that in 2015, with the sister car coming in second, on the way to winning the World Endurance Championship. The 919 chalked up further Le Mans win’s in 2016 and 2017 as well as the WEC crown in

both years – total domination of the LMP1 Class.

The cars featured in the video are: 911 GT2 RS MR (Manthey Racing); 911 992 Carrera S; Type 64; 919 Hybrid; 911R v Peugeot 205 Rallye. As always, this is a very entertaining watch.
